Cove Castles is a private resort set on a secluded cove of turquoise blue water and snow white sand beach on the Western tip of Anguilla. With all the conveniences of a hotel, but with the advantages of a private villa, it’s the ideal retreat for those who want solitude and privacy.

The resort is only eight miles from the French port Of Marigot, St Martin and 20 minutes from St Barths. From the United States, Anguilla is easily reached by direct flights from New York, Miami and Newark to St Maarten. British Airways offers flights from London to Antigua with connecting flights to Anguilla.

THE BEACH HOUSES: Luxurious, two bedroom hideaways strung along the beach. Living room, dining area, custom kitchen, and private veranda on the beach level. Upstairs is the master bedroom with king bed and bath, and guest bedroom with twin beds and bath. Spectacular Ocean views from all rooms.

NEW 4 BEDROOM GRAND VILLA: With over 5000 square feet of dramatic living space, the new four bedroom Grand Villa is the true " castle" at Cove Castles. Rising majestically from the sea grape covered dunes and just steps from the water's edge, this stunning beachfront home has been designed to accommodate as many as eight people in total luxury.

THE PAVILION, with four bedrooms with baths, 75' olympic swimming pool, 6 person hot tub, Children's wading pool, a private beach, on it's own special cove.

Twelve magnificent private villas, all with spacious living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and veranda on beach level. Every room has a view of the sea and all have a superbly equipped kitchen.
Terra Cotta tile floors, raw silk upholstery on custom-designed rattan furniture and hand embroidered linens are just some of the special touches. Also, each residence has a telephone, radio & cable television. And each comes with its own housekeeper.

ACTIVITIES

When you tire of soaking the sun up on the breathtakingly beautiful, half mile beach you may wish to do a spot of scuba diving, windsurfing, sport fishing, yachting or play a game of tennis (with a lighted court). A sports boutique to do a bit of shopping or take a trip to St Martin, which is only 8 miles away, or the Chic Island of St Barths, which is only 20 miles away.

For your dining pleasure, Cove Castles has its own restaurant. Small, elegant yet informal, it is considered by many to be one of the finest French restaurants in all the islands. TRAVEL TO ANGUILLA FROM ST MARTIN/ST MAARTEN:

Ferries: Anguilla / St. Martin
Ferries are a popular way to travel between Anguilla and St. Martin. No reservations are necessary. Between 7:30AM and 7:00PM, ferries run at approximately 30 minute intervals between Blowing Point, Anguilla and Marigot Bay, St. Martin. Last ferries of the day are 6:15 p.m from Anguilla and 7:00 p.m from Marigot Bay.

Funtime Shuttle & Private Charter
Tel: 264-235-8106
funtimecharters@yahoo.com

When you arrive at the airport first go through immigration and then pick up your luggage. As you depart the luggage area, a Funtime rep. will be waiting with a sign like the one shown above. The rep. will direct you to the vehicle and load your bags for you. A two minute ride to the Funtime dock which is located just around the corner from the airport.
Once you arrive at the dock, the rep. will take your passport so they can be listed on the manifest. Then you board the boat and take the relatively short ride to Anguilla. The boats are not crowded as they have a 12 person max. for each boat.
The ride is more expensive than the regular ferry but you will avoid the taxi ride to Marigot and the wait for the next ferry.
When you arrive on Anguilla you must once again go through immigration and customs.
A porter will come to take your bags. You have the option of saying yes or no. If you allow the porter to take your bags he will deliver them to the exit of the port to your taxi or car but will expect a "tip"
It is not a tip but actually a fee and he expects at least $2.00 US. If you give him $1.00 because you think this service is paid for by the charter company he will not accept it and demand a $2.00 tip. If you are tired and don't want to haul your bags it is a good option but you do not have to accept the porter and can carry your own bags if you wish.
