TRAVEL TO ANGUILLA FROM ST MARTIN/ST MAARTEN:

Ferries: Anguilla / St. Martin
Ferries are a popular way to travel between Anguilla and St. Martin. No reservations are necessary. Between 7:30AM and 7:00PM, ferries run at approximately 30 minute intervals between Blowing Point, Anguilla and Marigot Bay, St. Martin. Last ferries of the day are 6:15 p.m from Anguilla and 7:00 p.m from Marigot Bay.

When you arrive at the airport first go through immigration and then pick up your luggage. As you depart the luggage area, a Funtime rep. will be waiting with a sign like the one shown above. The rep. will direct you to the vehicle and load your bags for you. A two minute ride to the Funtime dock which is located just around the corner from the airport.
Once you arrive at the dock, the rep. will take your passport so they can be listed on the manifest. Then you board the boat and take the relatively short ride to Anguilla. The boats are not crowded as they have a 12 person max. for each boat.
The ride is more expensive than the regular ferry but you will avoid the taxi ride to Marigot and the wait for the next ferry.
When you arrive on Anguilla you must once again go through immigration and customs.
A porter will come to take your bags. You have the option of saying yes or no. If you allow the porter to take your bags he will deliver them to the exit of the port to your taxi or car but will expect a "tip"
It is not a tip but actually a fee and he expects at least $2.00 US. If you give him $1.00 because you think this service is paid for by the charter company he will not accept it and demand a $2.00 tip. If you are tired and don't want to haul your bags it is a good option but you do not have to accept the porter and can carry your own bags if you wish.

ACCOMMODATION:

Single Rooms - are on the second floor with a great view from the balcony over the garden towards the ocean. They have fan and a queen-size bed

Standard Room - on the ground floor with a private verandah in the tropical garden. All rooms have fan and/or A/C and a queen or two full-size beds

Superior Room - on the second with view over the garden or third floor with ocean view. All rooms have fan and or A/C and have a king-size or 2 full-size beds.

Junior Suite - with a view of the Ocean and a king bed. They also have a kitchen, a pullout sofa and a bathroom with a shower and oversized whirlpool.

Standard Suite - have an extensive bedroom/living room area and a fully equipped kitchenette. They are on the second floor of the main building or in a separate building in the gardens.( Some are large studio and some are 1 bedrooms (Bedroom only with A/C)

VILLAS

The Villas are spread out in the lush tropical garden between the main building and the beach. All villas have a fully equipped kitchen and direct-dialing telephone service, radio-alarm clock, room safe and barbecue equipment. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and air condition and fan. Each villa has its own private garden and parking area.

Del Mar:Two Bedroom Villa - is close the hotel rooms with views of the garden. The villa has two entrances one from the verandah the other from living room. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. The one you can enter from the veranda has two full-size beds the other has a king size bed. For an extra charge, laundry service, dishwashing and cable TV/VCR are available.

Pasatiempo & Fairview: Two Bedroom Villas

Pasatiempo has an ocean view from the terrace, with a newly renovated living room, dining and kitchen area. A spiral staircase leads to its sun-roof deck with wrap around views. The first bedroom comes with a king-size bed while the other bedroom has two full-size beds.

Fairview is located in close to the beach. The large kitchen, living and dining area can comfortably house a family with children. The spacious L-shaped veranda overlooks part of the tropical garden and out to the ocean. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Santa Barbara, Seabreeze & Sunset Three Bedroom Villas

Santa Barbara is the largest villa. From the verandah there is access to each of the bedrooms. The view from the verandahis the garden. The spacious living room, dining and kitchen area opens out to a view of the ocean and the lower pool. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have their own private individually designed bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms come with a king-size bed, the third bedroom with 2 full-size beds.

Seabreeze and Sunset both has 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms. From the spacious living room, dining and kitchen, there is a large L-shaped veranda with views of the ocean and the tropical garden. Two of the bedrooms come with a king-size bed and the third bedroom with 2 twin-size beds. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Hotel Restaurants and Bars
DINING:

Sirena Restaurant, is situated next to the Bar overlooking the upper swimming pool which reflects the beautiful lights at night creating a romantic atmosphere.

The Restaurant focuses on Fine French Cuisine influenced by Caribbean and Asian Flavors, among them the freshest seafood specialties.

The resort has 2 fresh-water swimming pools the larger one is located closer to the Hotel Complex - in front of the poolside bar, while the second pool is slightly smaller and conveniently placed between the five villas, next to the PADI Dive Centre.
The beach can be reached in 4 minutes by walking through a comfortable path winding through the tropical garden. There are complimentary lounge chairs and thatched umbrellas on the beach.
