The Beach House, Barbuda, is located on one of the most spectacular beaches in the Caribbean, on an island still considered one of the most natural and unspoiled. On arrival at the Beach House, personal Service Ambassadors greet each guest with an icy cocktail and cold towel. The Ambassadors attend to each guest, assisting with everything from helping to unpack to organising special island tours.

THE SUITES:

All of the rooms at The Beach House are luxurious Ocean View Junior Suites, all facing the ocean and just steps from the beach. These tastefully appointed suites each include a large sitting area and spacious bath. At night the large goose-down bed is arranged to take full advantage of the small, beautifully lit lagoon just beyond the private deck. A view of the sea is just beyond.

All suites are air conditioned for total comfort, but there are no televisions, computers or fax machines in any suite. When needed, these conveniences are available in the TV Lounge.

THE CLUB HOUSE RESTAURANT:

The Club House is the social center of The Beach House, and reflects the relaxed elegance and charm that are the hallmarks of this island resort. It has open air views of the sea and the expanse of deck encompassing the large pool. Meals can be served both in or outdoors.

The outdoor terrace at The Club House Restaurant offers magnificent ocean views, where you can dine overlooking the pool with the tranquil panorama of the Caribbean sea beyond, or in air-conditioned comfort.
The Club House is an ideal place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You may also chose to dine in your room, on the beach, or on your own private terrace. The Chef de Cuisine brings years of culinary experience and possesses a clear mastery of preparing fresh, healthy, locally-inspired dishes.

The minimum age year-long is 16+.

Barbuda offers world-class snorkeling and scuba diving, and has earned an esteemed reputation with serious divers because of nearly 200 sunken shipwrecks that lie in the waters along Barbuda's shores.

Horse riding
Horseback ride down one of Barbuda's pristine white sand beaches, or take a trail through the island's tropical forests. Easily arranged, for all levels of experience.

Fishing
Offshore sport fishing for Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Yellowtail and Baracuda is readily available by local charter. Spend the day on the azure waters off Barbuda in search of trophy game fish.

Tours
A tour of "The Sinkhole" is a decidedly unique experience. This vast depression, located on the far side of the island, contains a complete sunken tropical jungle.

HOW TO GET TO THE BEACH HOUSE IN BARBUDA:

Clients can make reservations with Carib Aviation (Tel: 268-481-2401) a small island plane - flies twice/day. Leaves Antigua 7.45 a.m. and 5 p.m. Leaves Barbuda 8.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m.
Approx US$70. (Important to reserve, locals use this service daily).
Small planes can also be chartered @ approx US$450. Or helicopter flights @ approx US$770.
