GREAT ABACO, Green Turtle Cay

The Green Turtle is the perfect place to unwind and relax, the hotel has just been renovated and is now better than ever. This is a hotel where guests mingle with each other and there is a house-party style of atmosphere. Pre-dinner cocktails are served in the Clubhouse bar while everyone gets to know each other before dining in the elegant air conditioned dining room.
During the day you can hire a golf cart, bicycle or scooter, take a small boat out or go diving and snorkelling off the pristine reefs.
A 5 minute walk from the hotel will bring you to a picturesque hideaway, Coco Beach. A little further you will find unspoiled Ocean Beach.

ACCOMMODATION:

The accommodations are dotted around the property and either overlook the pool, harbour or beach, some with their own private docks. All have television/VCR units, hair dryers, tea kettles, tropical paddle fans, and air conditioning.

Deluxe rooms are decorated with tropical decor and equipped with two double beds and pine decks for sunbathing. They are built over the harbour's edge at Turtle Point. Popular with boating enthusiasts, small boat dockage is available just outside the door.

Superior Deluxe rooms have mahogany Queen Anne style furniture, gleaming hardwood floors, Oriental rugs, and tasteful coral or indigo-and-white print spreads. Equipped with two double beds, each room has a private patio with a view of the harbour.

Suite includes king beds with a separate living area or a deck.

One Bedroom Villas are triplexes built out over the harbour and consist of two rooms, and bedroom with two double beds. Living/dining room with sofa bed with kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and bar stools.

Two Bedroom Villa consists of two double beds in each of the bedrooms. Separate living room with sofa bed full kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and bar stools and wrap-around porch with panoramic views. Small-boat dock outside door.

DINING:

Breakfast and lunch are served on the covered and screened patio overlooking the scenic harbor. At dinner guests are offered a choice of seating at two different locations, either the elegant main dining or the more casual outdoor harbor side restaurant. Reservations must be made by 5:00 p.m. with one seating at 7:30 p.m

Turtle Pool Bar and Grill sits high on a hill-top with spectacular views of scenic White Sound Harbour and serves up a variety of tropical frozen drinks and fast food type menu items.

TRAVEL TO GREEN TURTLE CLUB & MARINA:

Bahamasair round trip fare between Nassau and Treasure Cay is $195.00 adults /$150.00 children age 2-11y (APPROX). Nearest Airport is Treasure Cay (TCB). Bahamasair flights to Treasure Cay operate daily except Tuesdays and Wednesdays (subject to change.)

Air service from South Florida and Nassau into Treasure Cay International (TCB) on mainland Abaco. From there it is just a 5 minute taxi ($4 per person) followed by a 15 minute ferry ride ($18 per person) to the Club Reception.

Marsh Harbour International Airport (MHH airport code)can be used. MHH is a 25 minute taxi ride ($60 for 2 persons) from the Ferry Dock.( Your flight may be less expensive using this airport)
