The classic estates of the Caribbean and Oliver Messel inspired the overall architecture and design of the resort. Hand-cut coral stone facades and flickering hand-lit gas exterior lighting fixtures set a tone of timeless luxury and sense of place. Eight extraordinary penthouse residences are available for the truly discerning guest. Each features private elevator access, study with high-speed internet access, two expansive travertine terraces including a bougainvillea-draped pergola, an interior ?water room? with waterfall shower and an adjacent SunSuite featuring an outdoor shower, garden and hot-tub. A private butler ensures a seamless experience while a private car stands by to fulfill any transportation needs.

The centerpiece of The Palms, The Mansion, is the social hub of the resort. Built to resemble a period Great House, it features the resort?s signature dining room, The Ballroom and Concierge services. Along an esplanade flanking the Mansion?s formal gardens are The Mansion Shoppes featuring a selection of boutiques ideally suited to a luxury resort lifestyle.

ACCOMMODATION:

The elegantly appointed Luxury Rooms and Suites of The Regent Palms feature a hand-tufted king bedding configuration. Suites include a complete wet bar, safe, high-speed cable Internet and cable television. Daily Butler service is available at an additional charge. Each master bath suite features a hydro-massage bathtub and separate marble shower. Maid service is provided daily with turndown service.

The state-of-the-art exhibition kitchen is equipped with wood burning ovens, and tandoori ovens to ensure guests receive the full sweep of this fascinating cuisine. To complement the Tropical Fusion experience, The Regent Palms has an extensive list of boutique wines.

Plunge, the pool bar and restaurant, is surrounded on one side by The Regent Palms' multi-million dollar serpentine infinity pool. Plunge allows guests in-water seating with four round caf booths in one section of the pool, or they can opt for the swim-up bar while dining.
At Plunge, fresh fruit cocktails are served to guests with a choice of swimming up to their private table or relaxing in its sunken dining room.

THE BALLROOM:

Unusual for a resort of this size, The Messel Ballroom is located on the second floor of The Mansion and features a wrap around terrace for pre-function cocktails. The Messel Ballroom can seat up to 130 guests for catered social functions. Additionally, it is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual capabilities.

Other special events can be held on the croquet lawn which can be covered by an elegant marquis for outdoor weddings, receptions or dinners.

THE SPA:

The spiritual heart of The Palms, The Spa, is spread over an acre of elegant space. Treatment rooms are stand-alone and surrounded by water, each with its own water feature by day and fire feature by night. Two extraordinary spa suites are also available for individual guests or couples to create a custom experience of treatments, relax in a private plunge pool or enjoy a candlelight dinner for two.

Treatments take their inspiration from the Islands, native herbs, fruits and the high-salinity azure waters. Many of the treatments available in The Spa may also be taken in a guest?s residence for the ultimate in relaxation.

The Conch Kritters Club is a new addition to The Regent Palms, specifically designed to entertain our younger guests. Participants can engage in one of our exciting adventure tours or enjoy facilities at the club house, while their parents relax by the pool or at the spa. The program is available daily, offering half-day, full-day or evening scheduled activities with a ratio of one to five kids per counselor for children ages 4 to 12 years old. The children are engaged daily in a varied program of both indoor and outdoor age-appropriate activities including sand sculpting, kite flying, beach Olympics, art projects, and exercises enabling them to experience a stimulating and fun-filled day. For children participating in either the full-day or evening programs, a healthy lunch or dinner from the set menu, plus a snack, are included in the price of $75 per child for daytime or $50 for evening inclusive of dinner and an after dinner movie. Babysitters are also available to guests.
